Availability Expectation
GPISOA Board established the availability expectation for the coming year. The Board's expectation is that all members will need to commit to:
· 1 full day and 3 half days a month (not counting Sat/Sun/holiday) for games outside their local area. OR
· If that's not possible, plan to travel both days of the weekend on at least 2 of the 4 weekends of the month.
GPISOA scheduling criteria is to provide a relatively equal number of game assignments to all members subject to:
· Meeting all basic eligibility criteria of:
o Attend annual training clinic (or make up)
o Satisfactory completion of the written rules test
o Satisfactory completion of the physical test
o Be a GPISOA member in good standing
· Availability
· Level of game
· Referee's GPISOA performance ranking
· School's "don't assign" & referee's "don't want to ref" lists
· Interval since last officiated the school
